The platform provides an overview of the modeling activities within the OCCR. The platform facilitates the experience of different groups with respect to modeling and thus can help members of the OCCR to get support from experienced groups. It also provides an overview of available model simulations to foster collaboration between OCCR groups. The range of models include Earth System Models (ESM) of intermediate complexity, complex ESMs, impact models but also high-resolution regional climate models. The main aim of the platform is to exchange experience in modeling, enhance the usage of existing model simulations and accelerate the integration of new groups with the OCCR. Thus, the platform also increases efficiency and saves resources.
