In 1990, the IPCC published the First Assessment Report, which included a summary for policymakers. Since then, scientists have warned of the drastic impacts of climate change for decades - with (too) little effect, as some argue: we do not need more reports, we need more and better climate policy and action. This year, the young researchers meeting is about the actors and mechanisms of policymaking, and about our role as climate scientists.
