The OCCR Board has elected a new Vice President for the OCCR: Hubertus Fischer, head of the Past Climate and Biogeochemical Studies on Ice Cores group. Hubertus is the successor of Stefan Brönnimann, head of the Climatology group, who became OCCR President in Mai 2026.
Also, Claus Beisbart was confirmed as a member of the OCCR Board for another 4-year term. Claus heads the Climate ethics and philosophy of climate science group.
