The Swiss Ocean Day is the networking event for the Swiss ocean community. For the first edition, we cordially invite you to a day of presentations, discussions and updates on Swiss-led ocean science and other ocean-related activities. Following the event’s opening with an engaging keynote address, Swiss ocean scientists and actors will present their research and initiatives during the Open Forum. Ample time will be allocated for networking and exchange on other ocean-related activities.

Conference fee
The conference fee is 50 CHF (MSc and PhD students: 20 CHF) and will cover coffee break, lunch and apéro.
Call for contributions to the open forum
All scientific group leaders or representatives are invited to present their groups and research activities as a flash talk during the open forum (5 minutes, 1-2 slides). Additionally, NGOs and others are encouraged to share their aims, visions and projects.
Call for contribution to the poster session
All students and postdocs are invited to present their research in a poster format during lunch break and apéro.
