Ana Vicedo-Cabrera

In her Ph.D., Ana Vicedo-Cabrera focused on the association between the exposure to ambient temperature during the last weeks of pregnancy and preterm birth. Thereafter much of her research evolved around the assessment of the impact of ambient temperatures on several health outcomes as well as on the evaluation of the current and future impacts of climate change on health. In her last position, Ana Viceo-Cabrera has been working as an Assistant Professor in Environmental Epidemiology and Statistics at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. With her new research group, she will address research topics such as heat waves and mortality in Switzerland, temperature-related hospitalization for respiratory diseases as well as temperature changes and incidence of vector-borne diseases.
